Membership and Evangelism Ministry
Responsible for the survey of church membership, develops programs for evangelism to enhance the growth of the church (spiritually and numerically), develops a plan tailored to our community where our church is located which will attract persons to our church.

Christian Education
Develops and implements curriculum to meet the educational needs of the membership that will enhance their Christian growth, aid in development of teachers/instructors for the Church School and maintains supervision of the Debutante Master Commission/DMC aid in the congregations understanding of the Holy Scriptures, Christian Religion and the Christian Church.

Mission and Welfare
Should engage in a ministry of help and conversion, to help persons who are in need by carrying out the spirit of the Mission and Purpose of the AME Church which is to visit those who are sick, feed the hungry and house the homeless.

Stewardship and Finance Commission
Should provide the financial management of the church from a budgetary perspective, this includes the writing of checks, receiving requisitions for funds, paying the salaries and invoices receivable to the church.
Should monitor the budget line items and keep up to date account of actuals and variances on a monthly basis.

Christian Social Action Ministry
Should coordinate activities in the areas of social, community and civic involvement on behalf of the church, sponsor workshops, voter education drives and forums.
Represent the church when requested at civic and social affairs.

Public Relations Ministry
Responsible for gathering and disseminating information about our church to the public, this includes newspapers, radio, television, e-mail, and/or other electronic media.
Should serve as "Ambassadors" of the church in terms of making the public aware of our activities and focuses.

May act in the absence of the Pastor to preside over meetings of the Board of Stewards. May in consultation with Pastor meet with Stewards in "special" meetings or separately.

Holy Steward (Holy Table)
Provides the substance of the Holy Communion (i.e. bread, juice). Oversees the Stewardesses in consultation with the Pastor.

Worship and Liturgy
Responsible for the efficiency and efficacy of the worship (church) experience, this includes logistics (i.e. cleanliness of sanctuary, equipment operation and functionality).
Should be aware of the "spirit" of the worship experience and make recommendations to the Pastor and/or Official Board in order to enhance the worship experience.
Should engage "themselves" in "worship'' in aspect of every service and promote a spirit of enthusiasm and fellowship during the worship experience.

Health
The Health Commission is to promote health concerns of members of the A.M.E.
Church. The Health Commission shall advocate for health care and encourage each member in our church to include a health and wellness component in their life. The Health Commission should conduct health fairs and provide information to the congregation concerning health issues.
