Reverend Hall was appointed pastor of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Augusta, Georgia where he serves faithfully with vigor and with a renewed vitality. He is the lead pastor of the Augusta Wrens District and the Dean of the Board of Examiners for the Augusta Georgia Conference. He has given Bethel a sense of renewal with the slogan “The Downtown Church with The Uptown Spirit!”
Reverend Hall served as the Senior Pastor of Flipper Temple A.M.E. Church in Atlanta, Georgia whom he held close to his heart. Under his leadership, a new roof was put on the church, a church bus was purchased, a new parking lot was completed, a renewed effort was launched to reach out to the students in the Atlanta University Center, and the ministerial staff was used to invigorate the Bible Study Program. Striving to “Build a Church Big Enough for God,” Pastor Hall implemented several new ministries at Flipper, a Women’s Ministry, College Ministry, Homeless Shelter Ministry, Food Pantry, Family/Teen Ministry, and Adoption Ministry.
Reverend Hall faithfully served the congregations to which he has been assigned. From 1995-2005, as Senior Pastor of Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Covington, Georgia, the Church grew spiritually and physically. Under his leadership, many improvements were made to the Church. Some of them were computerizing church records, music department upgrades, the purchase of land, and a sidewalk from one end of the street to the other. Several ministries were organized under Pastor Hall such as the Senior Citizens/Retirees Program, Church Ministry, Tape and Communication Ministry, Male & A. H. Hall Usher Boards, Male Chorus, Young Adult Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Couples Ministry, and Greeters, Young Adult Choir and Health Ministry/Nurses Guild, etc.
Pastor Hall served as Assistant Pastor at Saint Philip African Methodist Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Georgia and Bethel African Methodist Church in Augusta, Georgia. He was a Class Instructor for the African Methodist Episcopal Ministerial Educational Alliance as well.
Reverend Hall has held several professional positions prior to going into full-time ministry as a Cytogenetic Specialist with Genetics and Laboratory Medicine, Inc., and a Research Assistant in the Department of Biology at Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia. In Augusta, Georgia, he was a Laboratory Technician II with the Medical College of Georgia, and a Computer Operator with Augusta State University. Early in his career, he was an Accountant with Magic City Asphalt Company in Akron, Ohio.
Reverend Hall is fully committed to the work of the ministry, and he continually encourages others to do greater works for the Lord!
